Can we have a piper for a cremation or burial?
Yes, a piper can form part of either type of farewell, subject to availability and the venue’s arrangements. We’ll agree where and when the piper will play.
Do we need a Scottish connection?
No. You can choose bagpipes because the sound or a particular tune is meaningful to your loved one and your family.
Can the piper play inside the chapel or church?
We’ll check with the venue before confirming indoor playing. Bagpipes carry strongly, so an outdoor arrival or farewell may be more suitable for some locations.
Can a piper accompany a horse-drawn funeral?
