How do I start arranging a funeral?
Call K. Dixon Funerals on 01302 560641. We can talk through your wishes, explain the information we need and help you with the next steps. Our guide to what to do when someone dies is a useful place to start.
How much will the funeral cost?
The cost depends on the type of funeral and the choices you make. You can view our funeral packages and prices and our Standardised Price List. We will explain the costs and any optional extras when we discuss the arrangements with you.
Do you offer direct cremation?
Yes. Our direct cremation is £950 and takes place without mourners attending. Our staff attend and care for the person with the same dignity and respect as an attended funeral. Ashes are available for collection from K. Dixon premises. Read about direct cremation.
Can we make the funeral personal?
Yes. Music, flowers, readings and transport can all help reflect the person you are remembering. Tell us what matters to your family and we can discuss the options available at your chosen venue.
Does the service have to be religious?
No. We can help arrange a religious or non-religious service, according to your wishes. A celebrant or minister can help you plan a fitting tribute. Find out about celebrants and religious services.
What can we do with the ashes?
Families may choose to keep ashes in a casket or urn, arrange a burial or scattering, or choose a memorial keepsake. We can talk through the options and help you check any permissions needed for your chosen place. Explore memorial keepsakes.
